    Had it at Brew at the Zoo, it was awesome. Didnt hurt that they were giving healthy pours. It actually reminded me of Solar Abyss at the time, although the hop profile etc is different.

    Yeah I like Home a lot, I think that and California Stars are the two best IPAs that they've brewed.

    I think Wings and Double Duckpin are better, but I can see having a preference for the Ocelot beers.

    Important to note ABV differences.

    California Stars - 6.8%
    Home - 7%
    Double Duckpin - 8.5%
    Wings - 9.2%

    What's the difference? Home is actually listed as Home* in Untappd, but I never knew what that meant.
    true, which is odd for me since I generally prefer IPAs in the 7-8% range. Wings and DD are the two exceptions :slight_smile:

    Nelson, brewed by Alpine, Nelson*, brewed by Green Flash. The Alpine thread in the Pacific forum has gotten a little chaotic.

    Had it last night for the first time and it reminded myself and another MN BA of the Toppling Goliath pale ales/ipa's. Was just getting online to find out more about these guys and find out where I can get some more.

    Westover has all of the above AleSmith plus Horny Devil and IPA. Don't know the price though.

    Pretty sure you can get a four pack of Old Rasputin or Founders Imperial Stout (when in season) for that price or less. Nearly double to amount of beer, and four servings instead of one.

    Its on draft at a few places in VA and DC, but no bottles.

    If you tweet at @ocelotcurtis he should be able to give you an idea of where its on draft.

    It seems like Dominion Beer in Falls Church frequently has a keg of something from Ocelot on tap for growler fills.

    What is Ocelot charging for growler fills these days? Last time I was there they were $12-14 for 32oz., which is too much for most styles.
