I would be interested in this tasting. Mole Temptress from Lakewood is an awesome one. Maybe I can get my Dallas guy to send me more bottles up. I have an Abraxas I can bring, also.

Abraxas is a major want of mine so that would be awesome.

    Ghost Scorpion Lager

My intestines still weep at the thought of that abomination.

I might be able to get in on this, depending on when, where, etc. I've got Mexican Cake and Space Ghost. I have Bruery Freckle too which is a mole spiced brew.

You guys need to video tape your tasting. I would love to see everyone's reactions.

Had Freckle a couple weeks ago. Was really good actually. Gets really bad reviews and remember seeing someone say "Smoky BBQ Sauce". It is not even close to that. Nice spicy chocolate. I would buy more for sure.

You guys should of been at the BG bottle share we had back in the spring, or whenever it was. We had a nice impromptu chili stout tasting thanks to me and have a abundance of them. I would like to be involved in this one if it happens but dont have much to contribute now. FYI I thought the Abraxas was the clear cut winner. Also I am a big fan of this style

I can bring a 2014 Pugachev's Cobra and we can pretend it has chilis in it.

Didn't this happen a few months ago at brew gentlemen?
edit: damn I'm slow. I think fresh hunah is still my favorite though.

I don't know and didn't know if you were serious or sarcastic. I actually liked the draai lang beer. Went home with a case. I was just speaking of pittsburgh overall

But if you thought my story was cool. Thanks and I apologize

Heading to Pittsburgh for the weekend. I will be with the wife, so I can only check out one brewery. Looking for suggestions/advice. Cheers!

Brew Gentlemen may be the consensus of the group here (8.9 miles from Omni), but you may want to consider the tight knit group that is Roundabout/Grist House/Draai Laag, about five miles from you hotel. Grist House and Draai Laag are super close to one another--you could make them a twofer. I guess the next best questions is what kind of beers do you favor?

BG might be 9 miles away but that's like a solid 20-25 minutes from the Omni. Roundabout is my vote if you only can get to 1.

Hop Farm is 9 blocks up the street from Roundabout as well...so I bet you could do Grist House/Draai Laag...or...Roundabout/Hop Farm.

He said he'd be with his wife and he could only do one. Some of you fellas aren't putting two and two together here.
