Yes, I am aware that it is June. But does anyone know where one might be able to purchase this in November in the Alabama Gulf Coast/ Pensacola areas? Will be there for thanksgiving and will be looking to do some Black Friday beer shopping.

You might have better luck if you start a whole new thread in the US South forum (or maybe the South Atlantic forum as Alabama is in one and Florida is in the other) as you're more likely to be noticed by the locals who might know.

Why don't they make more bottles of the variants? MN got something like 2 cases for the whole state and very little coffee. Demand is certainly there

    Thanks man.
Yeah, my buddy that sent it to me said it looks like it's a 500ml bottle. I'm guessing 4 packs will go away if that's the case.

Interesting. Definitely going to make the prices go up, but variants may be more available. I always hoped they'd do regular and variants in 12 oz...

If 4-packs go away, that would be the stupidest decision they ever made.

Next to that 12oz bottle, it looks like a 375ml which would still be 4 pk size. I would be shocked to see 4 pks go away

love the new bottle design, and that rye variant will be in smaller bottles..hopefully this means more to go around?..hate that the reg/coffee/BW are in 16.9oz bottles too..which means no more 4pks...gonna have to load up on 14's while I can to satisfy the BCBS craving

gooseislandbeerRare Bourbon County Brand Stout 2015:
Brewer Dave holds 2015 Rare. Back in 1979 the folks at Heaven Hill Distilleries filled a handful of new freshly charred American white oak barrels with some of their finest whiskey. It is rare for Bourbon to age in barrels for more than twenty-three years. But these barrels patiently sat for over thirty years. The extra years developed a distinct and complex character that makes them truly one-of-a kind. We filled those barrels with Bourbon County Brand Stout, and then stored them away in our Chicago Barrel House to age for two more years.
Available nationwide in 16.9oz bottles in limited quantities.
Note that this bottle is only a mock up as Bourbon County Stout is still resting peacefully in its oaky confines.

gooseislandbeerBourbon County Brand Regal Rye Stout 2015:
Brewer Tim holds this year’s Rye Variant. A unique blend of Bourbon County Brand Stout aged in rye whiskey barrels with blackberries, Luxardo candied cherries, fresh sour cherries and sea salt. Developed by the team of Goose Island brewers, this year’s recipe was especially collaborative. The brewers submitted recipes, held a roundtable discussion dissecting each and in the end landed on Bourbon County Brand Regal Rye Stout.
Available on Black Friday nationwide in 16.9oz bottles in limited quantities.
Note that this bottle is only a mock up as Bourbon County Stout is still resting peacefully in its oaky confines.
