    How's the can line moving?

I can't speak to how the line is now but when they opened (about 4:15 due to the storm) it was pretty relaxed

Man. You guys weren't kidding with the lama stuff. Seen a lot of mama llamas, girlfriend llamas and even buddy llamas today. My wife hates me so I guess it's just the actual can limit for me. Wish I could have stayed for some growler fills but 2 hour wait was going to get me home well past my bedtime. Haha

One small hiccup was so many people just standing at the end of the can line waiting for growlers after they purchased there cans. Maybe the traffic detail from outside needs to be moved inside as well. Haha. No diggity.

Also seen this while waiting for cans. Hmmmm... is honey dijon the special ingredient behind julius' greatness?

I think this might have been an issue today due to the poor weather outside

Very true. Dean was nice enough to open the other barn for a waiting area to which was a great idea.

@Gmr75 and I are going in September. I think Franklin's and La Barbecue are the only places you have to line up.

Definitely off-topic, but if you're someone who likes to BBQ, Aaron Franklin's YouTube channel is great Friday night content (or any night, really). All about how to smoke, trim your cuts, etc. I know it's much easier to just go to BT's, but I prefer my own backyard!

I've never visited on a Saturday and I would need to be there early in the day. What are the lines usually like at open?

Get there an hour before open on a Saturday and you should be somewhere between 25-50th in line depending on the lineup, typically. Usually good enough to be out with growlers within 30 minutes after open.

I arrived around 4:40 yesterday and waited about 2.5 hours for growlers. I was # 121/122, and they were on around #20 or so when I got there (they let people in early because of the hard rain).

The staff, the beer, and the atmosphere make the trip worth it for me. It's just an all around fun time.

I imagine they would have had higher limits on the Julius if they were planning to release another can this weekend, but who knows! I didn't expect 125 people in front of me at 4:40 (in the midst of a crazy downpour), so I'm sure TH has stopped trying to predict turnout as well =P

2.5 hours seems like a long time to me (note: I've totally waited that long at places before, so I'm not trying to poke fun or anything)

to my way of thinking, yesterday seemed like one of the better tap lists / can opportunities that I've seen at treehouse (I've only been living in MA for about a month now so I could be way off on this). I guess my question is, is 2.5 the new normal for treehouse now? or was it just a perfect storm of julius cans and some great IPA and IIPA growler opportunities that led to this wait time?

    thanks everyone
