Living 1/2 hour away from NEBCO doesn't get old. Long live Ghandi Bot, although it's still hard to justify the Fuzzy Baby Ducks lines.

I live in Free Will's home town and the tap room always has great choices.

Here in MA we are spoiled by some generally good distro and great local offerings. But unlike those who say Trillium (I don't work in Boston so out of the way for me) or Treehouse (hard to get to, with weird hours) I feel that Wormtown Be Hoppy is what I feel most spoiled by. It's just about perfect for a normal, non imperial/double IPA, I can get it in all the shops in town and the price is reasonable. Nothing else with that level of availability can beat it (honorable mention to Hoponious Union and Limbo).

Yeah this. I work at Whole Foods in SoFlorida and I definitely take my constant Jai Alai stash for granted. Plus it's on sale ($9.99) and our store discount applies to beer as well.

I have a mule who brings me four bottles of Trillium every week. I can buy Stoneface IPA two blocks from my house. Smuttynose Shoals Pale Ale and Ommegang Abbey Ale and Hennepin are available in my local supermarket. Every couple of months I drive right past Jack's Abby.

Times are good... even though I'm too inebriated much of the time to be able to appreciate it or, frankly, even speak it clearly.

I think this is simply a reflection of what American Craft brewers do best, and that's "make IPAs". Most breweries I know near me have an IPA or IIPA as their best beer. It's certainly the style I drink the most by volume.

If I lived in St. Louis, I'd put Urban Chestnut's Schnickelfritz at the top of my list, but near me, most of the fantastic stuff is IPA/APA/AIPA/IIPA/XPA. Although Jack's Abby lagers and porters are excellent.

I have to agree. St. Louis's craft beer scene is booming. Perennial, Side Project, 4 hands, Schlafly, Civil Life, are all making good beers.

Community Mosaic mainly. I get it super fresh and it's very well priced. I've been turning down fresh IPAs left and right just to stick with what I know I love. There are a few others like Jester King but there aren't many alternatives to it around here anyway.
