I ask because I was there last night and someone brought 5 bottles to share with his buddies. Bartender was aware and was pouring for them. It didn't dawn on me to ask anyone there til after I had left.

I totally agree, I've noticed in the last year or so it's become less of a group of Beachwood OGs/Friends & Family who are doing bottle shares and moreso total randoms. The OGs/F&F know full well to share with the staff, order food and order house beers but a lot of the new kids are clueless. It's only a matter of time before they really start cracking down on out of house bottles.

Bottle shares at Seal Beach happen pretty regularly. Just let the staff know. Same with Long Beach. Also, check out the on site bottle list for each location

went to Beachwood Seal Beach last night for the first time in about a year (to avoid the clusterfuck of DTLB's SECOND power outage). I always forget how much better the menu is at Beachwood Seal Beach. I was overjoyed to see the meat pies on the menu, which have been missing from LB's menu for almost two years. Washed 'em down with some Pliny and Down Under Thunder. Delicious

I got some Woodshop 7 brandy snifters with the Beachwood logo on them. Didn't realize what a rarity they would be, but they look pretty slick-- the Beachwood logo in particular looks beautiful. Damn shame about two things-- A) the "Woodshop 7" logo printed too damn small, so the writing is kind of blotchy and not very clear on that part of the glass, making it probably my least favorite Woodshop glass yet, and 2) I only have like 2 of them, as we ran the printing very tight on that glassware run.

Them's the breaks. I'd love to have some (more) branded Beachwood glassware.

Totally agree with this. The beer is called "Down Under Thunder." Super good.

The Seal Beach is always my go to BW. So much closer to my place than the LB location. Plus I like the people who work there although some of them have left us. I'll be heading their later this afternoon for happy hour. It's been a long time since I stopped in the Seal Beach location because of being on swing shift. But I am back on days as of this week. I ill probably try the BBQ chicken nachos. Last time they sucked. But heard they got the better chips again. We shall see.
    Cheers

Chips are great again. Frying and baking their own. Completely agree about the people there though. Shawn, Vito, Bryan... so many great people there.

I can never go to the Seal Beach one because I live 5 minutes walking from Long Beach location. The one time I did go was because of the younger raffle and the menu destroys the Long Beach. Loved their wild game options great stuff!

Was at Total Wine HB earlier today and saw a sh!teload of BW's Full Malted Jacket out on the shelves. No Thrillseeker. Hope to get a couple of bottles at SB today.

Both places are great for different reasons.
SB is smaller with less BW beers but has a great guest beer list and food menu. LB has a ton BW beers and u can fill growlers. Really like the servers at both places.
