as long as they keep "sour" or "brett" imprinted on their labels they'll sell out all their releases, even if they have to start brewing out of an apartment.

 

I dunno, a couple of duds and you really start to lose your brand appeal. These next releases this month will sell out like no one's business. But the real question is what happens in the future with the brewing aspect.

 

Just to be clear he did NOT leave on his own accord.

 

Please tell me there will be a Real HouseBrewers of San Diego county tv spinoff from this. I would almost consider watching it. =P

Just curious, but where is all this info? I couldn't really find anything except for an update on Peter's Facebook page.

 

Talking to people, I know..normally I just sit and don't make eye contact when at the bar...but at times I break out of my shell and ask a question or two.

No - I think you missed his intent. His answer was "talking to people" (not implying that it was he - just anybody with info), and he was then responding to what my response would have been ("how would you know anything about that, Mr. anti-social").

 

Instead of Belching Beaver, Peter should go work for Hoparazzi.

Bummer... I agree, the next few releases will sell, after that all bets are off. I'm not sure I can buy blindly and assume it will be (at least) decent anymore.

 

well, I mean, yeah. I said that. But I imagine that anything that comes out for the next six to nine months that has been barrel aged can be easily assumed to have his signature on it. Given the nature of what they were brewing, his beers are going to come out for a while to come under a brewery that he had a falling out with. Crazy.

 

Most of Toolbox's beers are not barrel aged, so I don't think Peter's signature will be on the beers for that much longer, although like Planet of Apricot, I'm sure there's some other things that are in barrels.

 

Have you been there? They have a shitload of his beers in barrels. I'd bet a huge percentage of what he brewed went in to barrels.

 

Guessing we will be drinking Peter's beers from Toolbox for at least another 5 months.

 

I'd guess longer, but I hate guessing.
