Blue Palms Anniversaries are amazing, I will personally guarantee that if you go to this you will be so satisfied you will feel foolish for ever having asked whether or not you should go to this.

Good man. I was starting to wonder if the beer-loving faithful were starting to lose faith in one of the best bars in town, and take BP for granted these days.

Sometimes you just need to take advantage of the occasion to enjoy copious amounts of old favorites, and a great establishment, and terrific company. (And a few surprises, which are always lovely.)

Looks like it's going to be an awesome event, as always at BP. Just to clarify, if we don't buy a ticket we can still go and drink all of the festival beers, but for a normal full-pour price instead of the special ticket/taster thing and inside BP instead of outside? Or will the beers for the festival only be outside?

Just bought my ticket today. Blue Palms did an amazing job last year and couldn't even think about missing out this year. Can't wait to see all my friends that I met last year again!!!

Does anyone bring bottles to this? Obviously there will be tons of magnificent stuff on draft or cask, but that never stopped us before.

I went to the 2nd ann and it was packed with so much epic drinks that you in no way needed to bring anything from home.

I brought a bottle of Isabelle Proximus and another of vintage Bourbon County Stout to last year's Blue Palms Anniversary party, and we did not drink them during the party because there was so much other good stuff to drink, and we did not find a quiet occasion to open up the celebratory bottles

During cleanup of the outside tents after a long day (some time around 8:00 PM), the bottles got jacked. You've been warned.

Point taken. Thanks for the heads up.

I may have come off harshly with that last post. While I think stealing someone's bottles is total bush league bullshit, you could make the case that I shouldn't have left them out during clean-up, or I should have found a time far earlier in the day to open them up. And you could definitely argue that for a "normal" party-goer who is not working the event (I worked at BP at last year's anniversary party), but who is instead looking simply to drink berrs and have a good time, it is far less likely that they will get their beers jacked at the party.

Bottom-line: There are so many great beers at the event that bottles are pretty much completely unnecessary. So I'll probably bring only a few today.

Does Blue Palms really not have air conditioning? Holy shit it was hot in the bar area.

Not to mention they didn't make water readily available. People were drinking out of the bathroom sink.
