they were pouring both into growlers. not nearly as impressive as the reviews suggested. I was underwhelmed with both. might have had something to do with having prop 30 minutes before #humblebrag  #rumking4lyfe

Check the G-Will Liquors in Champlin. I think they might have a couple bottles.

The G-will in Lino Lakes has crooked stave flor d'lees, a couple bottles of passion fruit and blueberry, surly 1349 black, Rodenbach Grand Cru, a few bottles of Oracle and a few bottles of Neptune left.

Does anyone have any pics of last year's Double Day Tripper? This year's batch seems awfully dark.

I noticed the darker color as well. I'm not a fan of this years Double Day Tripper. Its not very balanced and I get lots of alcohol taste. I've been drinking lots of week old day tripper this summer though and its been tasting fantastic.

FWIW, Double Day Tripper is spot on from what I remember last year and I think it's delicious. At $9.99/4pk, I'll pick some up every time I see it.

Cases of W00t and Todd the Axeman, your cabin sounds like a lovely place. Can I come?!?!?

Has anyone else found DDT to be oniony/garlicky? I get a ton of that flavor from it. Normally, that wouldn't be my thing, but the beer is still pretty nice.

Interesting, I personally don't get the oniony/garlic flavor at all. I do get that in quite a few of the Enjoy by's I've had, but not this one.

Finally tried it last weekend. I see where people are coming from when they say it's sweet, but it wasn't too sweet for me. I actually liked the flavor profile - sweet up front, changing to boozy, then finishing with some roasted/earthy/slightly bitter qualities. Plus, 1 bottle got me fairly loopy. I'm glad I bought a 2nd bottle for the cellar.

That said, I didn't try 1.0 or 2.0, so I can't comment on this one vs previous versions.

Have they brewed Let it Roll in the past? How is it going to compare? Hopefully no caramel malts?
