Aside from higher property value and taxes in Colorado, there is no sales tax in Oregon.

A $14 fill in Colorado most likely already includes sales tax. If you back that out, it's more like $12.95-$13.00/fill.

If you live close enough to Comrade to go once a month they have the growler punch card. You get a fill each month for a year plus the glass for $125. Works out to about $10 a fill and you can get superpower.

Prost is probably the best deal for growlers. Mondays it's buy a growler fill get one free. You also get a punch card and for every 10 growler fills, you get a free one.

Ok. Since I can't figure out the quote on my phone.

I had the Upslope Citra Pale ale last year at Upslope it was absolutely great. This year I'm less than impressed taste like a lager to me.

4 noses was at a festival at a park right by my house last year. Think they had like 4 beers there. All mediocre at best to me. Had the Charles IPA and it was well mediocre at best  I'm kinda curious how Probosics is that you guys speak of.

River Runner sounds like another I might have to check into. Does Eddy line can date?

Also how ever said something bad about Pinner Needs there taste buds removed. It is fantastic

Also I had the new OB IPA. It was good and refreshing I thought. Not mind blowing or anything. Think Pinner is WAY better.

    Cheers,

    Davey

I too was less than impressed by Upslopes Citra Pale, compared to 4 Noses Simcoe Pale, I think I'd rather have the 6-pack.

Also 4 Noses .44 Magnum is pretty dang nice as well. Nice sweet malt backbone and somewhat complex hop profile, they say it's just a imperial version of their session IPA (which is great too)

4 Noses has a lot of great stuff... I just can not even, just can't get over that name....

    @Prospero

Looks like I need to go by 4 noses and check out a few of there offerings. The 4 noses name I just can't get into. I read how they came up with it, but still just not a good brewery name

I've always liked Upslope's maltier offerings, but have never been a huge fan of anything hoppy they've done. That goes all the way back to the launch pale and IPA. A bit ironic because they should be in my wheelhouse preference-wise.

I couldn't agree more about the "4 Noses" name. Even if they might be one of the better breweries in town, it's hard to take that name seriously. I feels almost as ridiculous as Dad & Dude's Breweria, Grandma's House, and Our Mutual Friend. Disregarding their beers completely, those names are just corny.

They can call themselves whatever they want, I love that place haha. It's just so... damn... far

    Hopefully they start canning/bottling soon

Hmmm. I love the 4 Noses name, love their IPAs, and dislike Pinner. Either I have bad taste (probably) or am just difficult!

But honestly, they can call themselves whatever they want as long as they keep putting things out like that Amarillo Amber (it's not an amber, strangely enough) they have on tap right now.

I don't think that's likely in the short term. I know they are at capacity for the taproom and was told equipment for packaging would take at least 6 months. Sounds like they want to expand but would need an influx of funding to buy the equipment.

I'm hoping to open "4 Hobos" pretty soon. There aren't enough hobo themed breweries out there.

Does Rogue count? They have a beard beer and some of their recent ones taste like garbage.

I have a box labeled "bum beer" by my front door, stuff that got lost in the back of the fridge/basement that I no longer want to drink because it's old so I drop it off by the bums in Lawson Park or over by Great Divide. I should just open the Hobo Taproom, $0.05/bottle for old expired beer.

    No public restroom
