Pro V1 or Pro V1x ? Try the Callaway Chrome Soft sometime. 65 compression with a urethane cover for $10 less than Titleist Can't keep them in stock

Good morning, BAs! Time for lunch, and of course, a lunch beer.

    Founders Double Trouble

We just got this in last week, and already it's around 2 months old. It's showing signs of its age, but it is drinkable, at least.

Last night, we had a Thanksgiving-New Year's get together with a few friends. Due to our upcoming schedules and scattering to the four corners of the states, we're not going to be spending the holidays together, so we figured an August Tuesday was as good a time to celebrate as any.

I brought some Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest and some pumpkin pie; we had smoked turkey and sweet potato casserole; and then we did a 10 second countdown to "New Year's," fired off our noisemakers, and toasted with champagne (and an after-dinner scotch). All in all, a very festive evening - if also a bit warm for those particular celebrations.

Cheers, and enjoy your hump day, BAs!

At least it's barrel-aged. One of my favorites. Tastes like a BBA Quad.

Morning BA's! When I planned to cook my first brisket this morning (late bloomer, I know), I had spaced that this is also the 1 year anniversary of joining BA. Sweet...

Applied the rub last night, on the grill this morning.

Rub was courtesy of BBQ Pit Boys.com. As was the mop recipe.

Beer required. One for the mop, one for me (to start).

Looking forward to how it all turns out. Smells fantastic right now.

    Cheers!

If you work Monday thru Saturday, like I am this week, Wednesday's aren't really a hump day...instead I call today a Dry Hump Day:wink:

Found this one in the back of my "bachelor's beer 'fridge" (bbf!) -- It's a recent favorite in the series: Snowstorm 2013.

Ballast Point's Calm Before the Storm Cream Ale

Despite the coffee and vanilla, is this more typical of a cream ale than Sixpoint's Sweet Action? (I really liked Sweet Action)

The coffee and vanilla, malts and hops, were all very mild, very smooth...

This was nice, just not my thang...

    Thanks for the suggestion.
My father in law lives on a golf course and he is always looking for balls. He keeps me in Pro V1s.
