They seemed to have no problem with bringing beer in, they just seemed eager to keep glass out. Since brewers will be bringing bottles maybe they will go easy on that policy.

I'll be coming up from CT and plan on bringing up some Tree House and Hill Farmstead, so if anyone wants to arrange a bottle share and/or trade, just let me know. Can't wait for this weekend!

The people I went with brought beer and it wasn't an issue. We weren't searched. We were also VIPS.

I'll be there! Will be camping Friday and Ssturday. Usually not a big deal to bring in beer, especially some stash beers to share.

First timer here going to BCTC. I'm doing the Saturday GA + Camping. Does anyone have any tips for the camping portion, such as best place to setup my tent (i.e. away from bathrooms or food vendors), what time to actually get there, etc.?

Any tips would be helpful. Looking forward to a great day/night!

I have some Peeper, Lunch, Mo, and Another One I'd be willing to trade for some fresh Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Lawson's, Fiddlehead. Anyone?

Gates open at 12 noon Saturday for general admission campers and it sucks. Back in the day you used to be able to walk in Friday night and camp or anytime early Saturday. Now everyone queues up in this giant line and there is a massive wave of people trying to get a decent spot. All the premium spots in the woods on the side of the brewery, these are all taken by VIP's and brewers on friday night.

Your best bet is to get in line around 10:30 if you can Saturday morning. If you are lucky you will get a spot on the tree line by the parking lot. Also, there is a hill up in back of the property that levels out and has some good camping areas and doesn't get too crowded, but its kind of a pain dragging your stuff up the hill. Generally I just camp out somewhere in the center of the property and bring an easy up tent to provide shade, I stopped stressing about my camp site years ago.

yes, stay away from the restrooms so that you dont smell it and hear the door slamming all night, but close enough that you dont have to trek a half mile when you need to pee.

I will be there Saturday. As is tradition, this is where I publicly offer to share rare beers with people and try to make plans that never end up coming to fruition because of no cell service and inability to locate strangers in a crowd.

I'll be brining some Lord Hobo Brewing Company IPA's and some Belgian Kriek and Geuze

Don't set up near the portable light towers. We got there during the day and didn't really pay attention to the silent beast sitting not to far away. When we got back to the tent after the concert that we attended, the generator ran until the wee hours.

I noticed Ithaca is listed as bringing "Brut Golden Wild Sour Ale." Either they had some kegs saved from yesteryear or someone thinks they can brew it without Chief.

Think I'm going to camp for the first time this year instead of going home after. Is it easy to bring glass bottles in for shares or do they have to be snuck in?
