I have been quite the fan of this series from BBC. I must say that I have been drinking quite a bit more from them lately as well. The Hopology pack was quite tasty across the board. Really wish they made the Monk in 6 packs. That had a really nice ester profile, almost Weizen like.

So yea I will be picking this up.

Same here. Really loved Norse Legend; wish I had bought a lot more.

Why in the hell didn't they release Grumpy Monk in a bomber? I didn't really feel like dropping 20$ and buying all those others beers I had already drank just to try that one out.

I didn't get to try it out for the very same reason though I've had all their others in this series. Disappointing.

I'm pretty new to pumpkin ales. That being said, what are the best pumpkin ales out there I should try??

I love SA, but I hate the pumpkin flavor, so I will be passing this up and all others in this "style":grimacing:

Kind of like the lambics I love um, but you never see me drinking a Kriek, lol

I'm looking forward to trying this one.

I saw the Harvest Collection pack the other day but I won't be in the mood for fall beers until late September at the earliest.

Thanks!! I'm really getting into craft beer. I'm used to drinking coors light but I'm done with that stuff. Craft beer rules!!

I agree, and am looking forward to this. Both their Vixen and their Cinder Bock were awesome, especially considering the low price point!

If you're looking for an 8+% pumpkin ale, look no further than Elysian's The Great Pumpkin: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/700/33394. IMHO no one does more consistently good pumpkin ales than Elysian. And if you're ever out in Seattle in the fall, you really should consider hitting up their Great Pumpkin Beer Fest: http://www.elysianbrewing.com/greatpumpkinbeerfest.html. It's a blast and the beer and food are great.

I thought Fat Jack was mediocre. Not a bad pumpkin ale, but nothing I'd buy again.
