I actually expected this line to be pretty long, because these are bourbon barrel-aged, and everyone knows how en vogue that is currently. Enjoy New Glarus! One of my favorite places to have a beer, and the town itself is pretty great, too.

First time NG R&Der here - we are going up tomorrow (early). We are thinking to bring some local stuff to drink/share in line (Pipeworks, FFF, etc). Are these really common things shared in line? If everyone brings things like this, we can switch out for other things to bring up. Thanks !!

Just bring beer to drink. It doesn't matter if it is common or rare. We like to have fun and share!

Release was great again. Arrived around 8:30, line was one curve down the hill. Sales started soon thereafter, out by 9:15 at the latest.

Any idea what time they ran out? (Assuming they did run out...)

We just left and finally got cell signal back. Bottles are still for sale. Can't wait to get home and chill one.

I can't believe all of these "Got mine and left" people. How do you not stick around and enjoy this beautiful brewery and their beers?

We live around the Madison area and can go when it is less crowded.

I forget sometimes that there are people who do that. Not like me and my kids traveling the U.S. buying beer. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to keep a mustache on these kids in this heat. I had to reapply each time we changed our clothes. It was hard enough getting them to properly hold these fake arms for the NG employees to mark with a sharpie!

Seriously though, looking at the forums, it seems more like people needed to get back cellular coverage so they could get their FT/ISO posted.

No need to get pissy. I would rather have people go multiple days then try and swap clothes in the parking lot

It's funny that people actually change clothes. I feel like the employees see so many people there's almost no way they can remember everyone. Changing clothes, mules, going multiple days... whatever. I'm happy with what I got and can't wait to share them with friends who couldn't make it.

This is the correct attitude. Althouhg I wish I could still get my family to mule for me. They go for their own now.
