I didn't enjoy it off draft when I tried it Friday. I remember enjoying it much more at the anniversary party. I felt the mouth feel was thin, couldn't really taste the adjuncts much. To be fair it was a cold, tried to let it warm up. Hopefully it tastes different off the bottles.

 

I will gladly take the bottles off your hands if you feel the same afterwards

 

Excited for Oro to show up around town in the Cleve this week.

 

Based on my own experiences, I'm guessing it was too cold. I've had night and day experiences with BB Oil and BB Black Maple cold vs room temperature.

 

Yep. I suggest ordering a Mystic Mama with your BB selection to drink while it warms up.

@beace Any chance Dark App Thin Mint will make an appearance on the tap list for the next bottle release? Loved that beer especially on Nitro.

Anyone have any idea on how many cases are left of Oro at the Brewery? Looking for insight if it will still be around release weekend?

 

I had a nice back and forth with the bartender and she made it seem like they would hold some back.

It would only make sense with that many people in town ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I was thinking they might hold some back just concerned the per person limit might be lower though. Just a thought.

 

What's the over/under this starts showing up more similar to the Oil and Dark App?

 

It seems like they've been scrambling to try to make this as available as possible since it debuted. I'm pretty sure it's at least been at every bottle release since then, though the peppers have changed.

I'll be traveling to the Dayton area this week Thursday/Friday, anyone know if there's a chance of any Oro being available somewhere still? Or am I pretty much out of luck on that one?

 

Belmont is likely sold out, don't know about much else.

 

Your best shot in Dayton would be this little store in Kettering called Bee Gees.
