What makes you like a WBAYDN post?

Hahaha! Some people just don't understand...

 

Thanks for flaunting your delicious meals on the thread every night. But seriously, it's something I look for regularly, keep up the good work!

 

I very rarely click 'like' on anything. Too Facebook'y for me.

I try not to be rigid/reactionary on this...

I just value the communal aspect of the beer in that "moment"...

I understand the scenario you present...and tend to see that differently (if at least in close time proximity...somehow)...the intent, constraints and context make it different...to me

I tend to pucker more with the roll out of what's to come later...of what was the night before...too far removed from the "N"ow

maybe more so than I should...but it doesn't linger...I just read and roll

 

More importantly what makes you like a post in this thread about giving a like in WBAYDN?

 

upon reflection, not that it matters to anyone...perhaps...

I can't "like" those posts who so blatantly cry out for the "like"....covertly/passive aggressively/outright requesting/quantity instead of quality

those pimping outwardly for "likes" would deserve the "dislike" feature as well...(but life is too short to wallow in negative energy like that...so I let it go...

complete agreement with my constraints as well...

I would post more, peruse and "like" more...but I let my estrogen filled household confine me...not worth the scrutiny the questions, the judgment...

I have to rush posts, rush the reading of posts...or wait for a completely vacated house (besides me and my pal Pepe...my beloved drinking dog)

too much stress and anxiety...so I just drink to cope...and cope to drink....

I love my family, more than beer (seriously)...but I love the connection of BA's and the vibe, flow, drink, sounds, eats, warped perspectives and all the site entails....and wish to dabble more often than not

What I like:

A simple set-up line that makes the post your own.

At least one photo of your beer, tablesetting, environment, etc. It's not too hard to post something.

I'm also a real sucker for a song, music video, or footage of some kind.

 

I just figured out what WBAYDN stands for...theses acronyms kill me sometimes

 

Food pics....all the outstanding burgers, pizzas, BBQ, and other fantastic vittles.

I forgot all about the food **** bonus category...

 

I like so many things posted on WBAYDN. The rare things that I will not like:
1) 'Reply' posts that are clearly meant for the OP & that I've nothing to do with.
2) Negative comments of any kind - we don't come here to have someone poo-poo our posts.
3) I must admit & @KarmicSkrambl8 will understand, I don't tend to like the posts from folks who post 5 different beers in 5 different posts in the span of minutes.
4) I don't like posts of Not Your Father's Root Beer, unless another beer is featured in the post :-)

Other than that- anything that I think is fun, which is almost everything, will absolutely get a like from me.

 

For me it is a variety of factors, many of which vary from day to day. These would include, but are not limited to: the beer mentioned, the glass used, if the post has a background or story to it, music, the picture(s) included (mostly beer, glass ware, animals, location, etc.). Really anything that makes me say to myself "that post is cool, I'm gonna like that!". Haha, in other words, very scientific criteria.

 

Likes are free. Why not share a few?

Seriously, though, it tends to be for beers I've enjoyed, or wanted to find, or if there's another factor that triggers something for me (local-ish beers/people, something from back home in MI, etc).

I absolutely will continue!!! It's fun to make pairings. And 9/10 are based on a specific flavor mix.

 

Usually a few of the posts just prior to mine, depending on how much time I feel like allocating to seeing what others are drinking.

The photography. What glass they used, background scenery, maybe something funny in the picture like an action figure etc. Lol
