Yup, not much overlap there, although I did coach the rookie rugby players from '07 - '11, so if you knew anyone on the team while you were at NU we've got a degree or two of Kevin Bacon... or something like that. Anyways, small world!

I've tapped out on TG. It's a good beer but 100 bucks for 2 22oz bottles of a non-BA coffee stout and a 10 dollar glass is absurdity. I do have a couple of friends going, so I'm sure one of these will show up at a share tho.

 

I had to do the math. $100 for all that, $30ish for gas, scheduled to work, so skip out on $60 that I'd lose not working. We are approaching $200 for beer. Not to mention the mental anguish of having to drive through Iowa.

 

I have a hard time liking your post but sincere congratulations on the promotion! This is awesome!

 

Great day out at New Glarus today. Need to get one of these hyped up beers on ice and see if it's worth thumbing a ride back up tomorrow!

 

Not a ton of research needed - most of the stuff you can guess at based on the international rankings. Either way, it's all in good fun, and blind luck will probably win it for someone!

I had a five day old Limbo when I was in Vermont and it was insanely good. Anytime I see it on the shelves here I always check but usually it's 45+ days old so I end up passing.

 

I spoke with 2 different beer managers, 4 bean wasn't on the truck this week and was suppose to be. BA Oliva was out today. and Found one Stone IRS.

 

I grabbed 2 4 packs of 4 Beans on my way home tonight... Plus some Bolero Snort, and a 4 pack of Boat.

I hate snj distro. Most likely it'll be on the trucks next week. Both managers are going hold a 4 pack each if they ever get it.

New Glarus R&D Bramble Berry Bourbon Barrel

Really delicious. NG has done very well on the last two releases and both should age well. This one had some great fruit and smooth barrel. I'll be heading back with @NickyPogs tomorrow to score a couple more bottles...
