Got a nice bottle just in time for IPA day!

And to keep it on topic, my other bottle of Vicinity will be hitting the porch of a local sometime next week.

This is fact! I'm a little nervous to get there tomorrow. Hopefully I make it before she gets home. Then hopefully I can open it up tomorrow night (depends on the mood of the MC...) thx in advance, I don't know what I did to deserve this unfair treatment.

The Miller Lite was a challenge a friend set for me, that I couldn't finish more than 30 Miller Lites in 3 days. After a lot of shit talking, I had enough and took the challenge. I won, but at what cost.....Damn I was (still am) insanely full.

Was that the explanation you other fellas was lookin' fer?

Um, are you in my house? I've got all 3 of those cans in my fridge, and that's definitely my Nalgene...

71, if this is still open. Thanks for the chance!

edit: Make that 88mph, since 71 was taken. 88 would be much cooler anyway.

Better yet, (with a sponsor, as you have 0 trades) join the Newbie BIF that's going on right now!

edit: Dammit, of course someone beat me to that.... that's what I get for posting as I catch up, not after. Ditto for guessing 71 after it was taken.... edited my post to my new guess of 88, I'm betting you were trying to travel time.

I really liked Hop Knife last year, something about it just hit that spot for me, needless to say I'm also bummed that it's 2 weeks old on release day, but I'm still looking forward to trying it out when I see it.

As an aside to anyone interested, this beer purports to be a "Harvest Ale" but in fact is not a "wet hopped" beer like many that use that designation (technically the two are not synonyms, just colloquially used as such)

I'm actually closer to Trenton than @devilfluff or @jawas... with that said my knowledge is all on the PA side of the river. Do you have the flexibility to cross the bridge?

Pro tip: If it's 9:00 and your bed time is 10:00, do not open and finish a Woot Stout, especially if you wake up at 4:30.

So the first batch of Boom Sauce was just OK, and definitely not worth the premium price ($15/4pk). I haven't tried the 2nd batch (what's out now) but I hear it's a bit better.

After trying all 4 of their beers, I'm going to give them another few months before going back. It's all solid stuff, but I feel like they need to improve with each batch if they want to continue to charge the same (or more) than Tree House, Alchemist, etc...
