What makes you like a WBAYDN post?

I can't look at all the photos though, my internet connection at home is just way too slow, so I don't always get through all the pages..

 

Only when it's empty, like their championships.

I use many variables and any given variable may be weighted differently depending on other variables that are also part of the picture. I usually don't like certain styles that I haven't acquired a taste for yet but there may be another part of the picture that I think warrants a like, a nice setting or a good looking wife or girlfriend for example.

 

something, anything that deviates from the IPA/Stout/Sour grid

 

Nice picture, good beer, and matching glassware.

 

Great photos of either the beer or some great scenery. Or if it is a great beer with bonus points for a beer that is under rated in my opinion.

 

A beer I like, music I like, a good pic (especially with good post- work), a cool pet pic, or something that makes me laugh... those are the usual suspects.

Granted, the more B's I've been DN-ing, the looser the standards get.

 

Only if I've had the beer and enjoyed it.

 

Don't forget, "Who posted it."

I've gone back to back posting the same beer as somebody else and gotten roughly half the "likes." I'm pretty universally disliked, so even getting one is an accomplishment for me.

Personally, I don't consistently like WBAYDN posts. Here and there I'll like a post if it's a beer I like, but I don't do it all that often.

 

Being more right-brained I appreciate good photography and clever captures...those always get a like from me.

 

I like pretty much every post of a New England beer because I am a huge supporter of New England breweries.

I also tend to like the growler shots or the flight shots because even if I have never had it - I'm pleased the member is supporting a local brewery.

 

I probably don't do as many 'likes' as I should, mostly because I just don't think about it. This is the only site that I'm on that has 'likes' and I'm not a facebooker.

The likes that I have given have been for;
1. Quality pictures or outdoor settings
2. Beer that I like or would like
3. Humor
4. Reward beer. Like after a long hard day, week or month
5. pets or children
6. Chicks
7. Just some comment that really makes sense

I'll work on getting better at this!
