Exactly. I asked them, why they just wouldn't allow to buy a DD ticket with the regular one, with no rights to buy the bottles etc. Never got a response.
Are they worried it will be too crowded? Come on, Firestone knows how to do events (FWIBF), I can't believe they have problems with that. Not cost effective? Then charge a lot for those DD tickets.
The current state of things makes me not even try to get tickets this time. I guess more for you guys (or the store owners with their mules)...Not happy with FW on this subject though. I'd love to try the beer, but it looks like that's not happening this time, unless I'll be able to buy it in Paso at some point.

I'm going to try for 2 tickets but really might have the girl attempt while she is at work for her own and then just feed her the CC information over the phone or something. I highly doubt that I can complete 2 transactions before sell out since yes, mules still gonna mule.

I keep trying to convince my slacker friends who like to drive to provide this service. But, fuck, they're slackers and they keep on slackin'.

Anyone know if the name has to be entered when you buy the ticket, or can you change it?

In the past I have succesfully transferred tickets (changes name on ticket) to other people in the past via Eventbrite. I would think that the transfer option would still be available as most ticket sites offer this, however, I suppose the availability of this option could be left up to the event host (Barrelworks in this case).

Ha ha, that'll be a real how-do-you-do if you can change names. which basically means that people can scalp off their own tickets to others. Forget muling, we're getting all sorts of ticket master days all up in here.

But seriously, let's look at what this even playing field has done. Those who would have come with a S.O. or whatever will now have to try twice to get tickets. While those mules all try at the same first crack at it. You basically gave mules the advantage in all this.

If anyone's only planning on getting 3 of each, let me know I'd take the other 3 each and make it worth your while. I'm gonna be out of town that weekend...

Yeah, for sure. I transferred a ticket last minute when my brother in law cancelled on me last minute. It was actually pretty easy to do...I still met up with the guy I transferred my ticket to to make sure there were no problems and it was totally under his name.

Easy 2 tickets. 2 different browsers works like a charm every time.

Ha ha. so much for the notion of just refreshing and buying one for your significant other/ person you would have gone with that isn't a mule for the few bottle stores that sold it online.

Guess I'm driving solo to an AYC drink event...

For those that missed a 2nd ticket, the cart timer on EventBrite is 8minutes.

Thought I had the second one and then it said none available on the save. This really sucks.
