    What are the distro rules for this sort of thing?
    I wonder if we are going to start seeing this all over the NYC area with HF now brewing a lot more beer post expansion. I guess its just a question of what their distribution plans are in general.

    Got some more information on this last night while at BVT. Only 4 bars in New York were offered this. Ambulance Brew House in Nanuet, Bridge View Tavern in Sleepy Hollow, a bar yet to announce in NYC, and a bar yet to announce in Albany.

    Cool, we are moving to Tarrytown as well. Haven't been to the Oath yet, but I walked by it last time I was up there and it looked cool. Maybe we can meet up for a beer sometime!

    Hmmmm - not 100% sure. The bar itself will definitely be a factor. But overall (both specifically with HF tappings, and just in general with events/limited beers these days), I feel like the number of shit shows have dropped. Most of the predicted shitshows over the last year (multiple HF tappings, CBS tappings, GI event at One Mile, Prop at Berg'n) have beeen anything but. There are more good beer bars, more good beer getting distro'd, and more good beer getting brewed locally than ever before. A couple of years ago if a place announced it was tapping HF the place would be a zoo. But with pretty much any of the places tapping HF these days (like the ones mentioned in this thread), you can go there after work and have a couple glasses with no issues. So assuming having a bar with a dedicated line doesn't significantly affect the number of kegs turning up at other bars, I don't think it will be a big deal.

    Enjoy tarrytown - my wife's cousin recently moved there. Great spot.
