I'll be there solo as well this time, so say hi. I've gone alone before, and still had a great time, so don't let the prospect deter you if you bought a ticket and end up on the fence about going. Just be smart.

It makes no sense not to offer a DD ticket though.

Same just happened for me.

Shit, I remember when they were available up until about a week before. Welcome to the new age of beer, I guess.

But yeah, getting a ticket for myself and the SO wasn't suppose to be this difficult. Ha. But hey, gotta make sure 3 shops and some instagram account doesn't sell a bottle.

 

Now sold out.

 

... And 19 mins in, "Sold Out".

 

No no no. don't mark it at 19 minutes. This sucker was sold out in 30 seconds (app was faster by 20 seconds to refresh with tickets). It just didn't want to admit it was sold out by dragging it on with two 8 minute periods in between.

 

Sucks, grabbed one, but couldn't get second with gf's acct. =\

 

I had to use the mobile app...got a ticket into the cart in like 2 seconds. Once I clicked complete order it took about 2 minutes to process.

People trying to get 2 tickets. Use 2 different (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Firefox) browsers next time.

Browser one F5 @ 9 on the dot add to cart. While that's loading on browser two F5 add to cart. Checkout at your leisure on both. Easy Peasy.

They need to do something. It's nuts how quickly these releases have gone from under the radar (tix available for days or weeks) to ohmygodmaybei'llscoresometg, and it sucks for those of us who are local and have supported FW for years. I probably wasn't going to end up being able to go anyway, and would've had to transfer my ticket, but still.

 

I'm still confused on how this method didn't give mules and advantage.

Mule hearder just has his mules with their own account F5 at the hour mark. A lot easier than the past when the majority of those buying 2 tickets for themselves and their SO or whatever could be done in one transaction. And those mules now have the chance to dig into even more of those non-bottle selling pool of tickets.

I actually did try with two formats - phone and online. Online basically shit the brick.

Exactly, someone with the proper contacts needs to educate FW on this. For someone like me it is a six hour round trip that 4 of us were planning on making a weekend trip out of it. Have rooms already and everything. Now just one of us can got o the event while the others are off doing something else.
