There was absolutely nothing condescending in the intention of the comment; it was designed to be helpful and an alternative solution to what you are seeking.

Due to the lack of draft, this allows you to still make a single purchase from a deli, and it actually saves you money. A draft pour of this beer would likely be $7-9 in NYC, and you should be able to get a can for $3-4.

    cheers

cwmolre13I am beginning to think this is impossible to find near West Chester PA. All of the beer store that sell anything less than cases have not received any and have no idea if and when they will get any. They all say their distributor/buyers don't know either.

All of the state run beverage stores don't have cases but said they may be able to special order them. Any advice @Poobah?

    Oops, that's what I meant!

Has anyone tried this yet an experienced anything like what the most recent two reviews suggested: a metallic aftertaste? I've only had one can (bought as a single) and have two more unopened 4-packs. The can i had was incredible, no complaints whatsoever. Curious to know if those two reviews were isolated incidents. Seems that way so far.

As someone very disappointed by this year's Hi-Res and Jammer, I have to say this is a pretty darn good beer.

Bought a can at Premier Gourmet in Buffalo NY. Singles are $3.79, 4 packs $13.99. Earlier they said they didnt have any, and i went in for other stuff anyways but happened to see it:grimacing: Should be amazing

Hello there! As you are probably aware, TX has a lengthy label registration process which sometimes delays the release of beers. We did ship some of this beer to Texas though so you will see it on shelves.

We recommend downloading our BeerFinder app and it will direct you the nearest locations serving 4Beans and other Sixpoint brews.

    cheers

Really enjoyed the choice to not barrel this one, vanilla definitely carries the load and took that slight edge off that came with 3beans. Right up there with Framinghammer in terms of drinkability at that level of ABV. Bravo.

I made a special trip this afternoon to pick this up and was surprised when it rang up for $16.04. I would have passed at that price if it wasn't for some of the great reviews I've read on here. Some of my excitement is definitely gone, however. After reading this thread I guess I should be questioning my local shop more than Sixpoint.
