Is it much better than non-barreled version? Because it was so disappointing.

 

Great share Friday and Saturday night, my liver is still recovering from all the goodness shared. DB Mexican Cake, Bramble, Backyard Rye, Aurelian Lure, a lot of huge standout bottles. Thank you Foothills for hosting all of our drunk asses and thank you to WS police to putting up with us year after year.

Yes, people started lining up before 2a, but I would say there was at least 30% less people than last year, and a lot of faces that are usually there were not.

By 10:30a you could go through line and purchase a full case if you felt so inclined.

 

It's not going to blow your mind, but its a solid NC BA stout offering that isn't nearly as big or boozy as Event Horizon.

 

Close to 4000.

 

Any of this still hanging around at the brewery? I know they had some more to sell the following Monday last year.

 

Thanks to guys that the brought the fresh 6 packs of Zombie Dust. The guy offered a fresh (7/21/15) six pack plus a cold single from 7/9/15 for a single bottle of BASC. I took that deal.

 

It's definitely bigger than Event Horizon. Boozy would depend on the year, but 2014 EH wasn't boozy at all.

 

I randomly bumped into @Mantooth at the release. Great to see you man. Sounds like you fine tuned the chili made with mexican cake recipe, impressive!!!

My first time going and had a blast. Got there at 6am and was number 267. Was in the car with bottles by 10 am. Stopped at a cool bottle shop heading out of town called Stella Brew which had a great selection.

Funny, those guys were sitting right over from us. We got offered the same deal but all turned it down. If you never had ZD I'd say do it and save on trading time, shipping expense, etc.

I saw him walking through the parking lot with those. Everyone's eyes lit up.

 

There's still some left but I'm not sure how much. I figure if you get here sometime today you'll be able to get some.

 

Brewpub was sold out as of ~2pm. Tap room had 2 bottles left as of 2:30pm.

 

Drank a ZD yesterday and was so happy I did that trade. It was delicious. I hadn't had ZD since 2012.
