It is still all over the place here in the Twin Cities. You probably could hit just about anyone up on here and get them to send you cans.

Drank a 7/16 last night and happy to report no carbonation issues and tasting just as delicious as on tap. This is my favorite beer ever.

When I was at Urbandale Hyvee on Tuesday, they had about 10 cases. Not sure if there'd be any left now or not.

I am so happy about this, with the Wisconson, Iowa and Chi-town expansion I was worried we'd get much less of their limited release stuff, but man it is everywhere. They must have dumped a ton on the twin cities.

They have the whole of the Brooklyn Park brewery to devoted to seasonals now whereas before 85% of the production there before was Furious. I'm actually glad for their expansion into Wisconsin and Iowa, because it is certainly keeping fresher product on our shelves here in Minnesota. Just think of all the old Furious that was sitting on store shelves for one month to five weeks after they were first started brewing 100 barrel batches of it at the new brewery. They had yet to expand to new markets so we were stuck absorbing 100 barrels of Furious with the same canned on date instead of three 30 barrel batches with three different dates on them. Oh, our problems.

To all: some of the previous statement was sarcasm directed at thin air. Use your special BA decoder rings to decifer what is real, and what was hyperbole. There is only one correct answer.

Yeah I knew this was the case, and I agree with all what I think are your decoded sentiments. It does seem with the Axe man that we got a disproportionate amount compared to the other markets... which is as it should be since you know MN state pride and all.

Had a couple 7-21 cannings, smell and taste was outstanding. There was at least 6 or 7 four packs left at my local beer store as of tonight. I will probably have to grab a few more tomorrow.

    Well done Surly.

I had some of the aforementioned carb issues with my first purchase of Todd. I got some 7.29 canning yesterday at Elevated that is on point.

Was it on tap at the brewery? I'm planning on visiting Duluth on Friday. Would love to try it.

It was on tap but my feeling was it was on the end of its run as they had no growlers at the store downstairs...then again maybe it was on the beginning of its run....they also had the Mayor IPA which is very solid as well but not as enjoyable for my personal tastes..I still think I rated it 4.7 a year ago though so I definitely like it.

Had some of the 08/04 Todd today .. thought the color was lighter and the finish less dry, carbonation was just fine.

I should have been more clear on this post. Blind taster. Fitger's Hoppelujah topped what I thought was untoppable in The Axeman....both 4.9+ but I like the Hoppelujah more...granted it is pretty limited...

Do you happen to know what the hops used were for this? Fitger's site says "This IPA features three rare hops that all provide great aromas and flavors."

To keep it relevant to this thread, I'm wondering if two of those hops were Citra and Mosaic. I'm wondering how it compares to Todd.

I had Hoppelujah at Fitger's in June and like it so much I brought a growler home. Needless to say, that growler was polished off by the next night. Love that stuff.

Pretty sure they said it had mosaic. Can't remember if citra was in it or not.
