Finding yourself in your office when you are supposed to be at the beach....stinks!

Realizing WHY you are at your office (so you can give your daughter the best chance for her dream teaching job) makes it a much easier pill to swallow.....now to continue to convince the two littler ones that it is the right decision as well......

    A bit harder.

Allowed? Permission? This is your car, right? I'll put you in touch with some moonshiners if you need help hiding it in the vehicle

I'm trying to remember where the day parking security led to last time: straight to the venue or into the camping area? If it's the music venue, no way will you be able to sneak more than a few cans in. If the camping area, maybe you're in business.

I sent another email to Magnaball for you. You have questions? We'll get those bastards answered!

I like the cut of your jib sir.

My guess would be day parking is it's own lot closest to the exit so people can leave easily, and be different from camping parking (I think it actually states the 2 are different). Just curious if they will search each car thoroughly, if at all, in reference to coming into the day lot. Also wondering if we're allowed to go back to our car after set 1 on Saturday AT ALL. You'd have to think yes, but you never know.

I'd love to be able to sneak some cans into the camping area for day consumption and not have to rely too heavily on you and your crew haha

Apparently for the campgrounds they toss your car apart pretty good. There is a max on beer you can bring (1 case, so not unreasonable) and it need to be in cans. No hard liquor and no bottes/kegs.

That actually is pretty damn reasonable, and given public safety concerns I completely understand the no bottles rule, broken glass is a bitch. On the bright side, I hear there's one or two decent beers they put in cans up New England way......

Yeah, 3 HF beers and 2 Lawsons will be on tap (as well as Sixpoint). I'm sure lines will be unbearable and the prices will be skyhigh though.

1 case sucks. I'm also packing beer for a friend who's coming a day late. Going to have to put some bourbon in a water bottle and hope for the best.

It's 1 case per person. Your buddy should be able to bring his own beer in, otherwise that's going to put a drain on your beer for the weekend.

Iced tea bottle will probably have better luck of not being found out.

Just talked to my buddy who went last time and parked in Day Parking all 3 days. He said we'll all have access to everywhere except VIP and Glen Close. He also said we can bring in a bunch of beer and tailgate in the day parking lot (they did all 3 days last time) as much as we want as long as it's cans.

In theory, if you're short on beer, I can delivery you some.

I brought about 6-8 bombers to Superball in our RV, 2 were in the fridge and the others were hidden pretty well with a bottle of booze. The security people turned our RV upside-down and found it all. They were total dicks about it. I'd just bring cans and expect a repeat of what I saw...

Yeah, my main question was about tailgating at our car in between sets on Saturday, which was answered as a "yes". It now appears I may need to bring ColdOne in some cans for his campsite though, which is fine.

You've never seen iced tea in plastic bottles?! :astonished:

    Also: Crowlers. Problem solved.

Nice!! I've been listening to a bunch of this run and the boys are dialed in. I'm seeing them Friday!
Boom. If I hadn't just gotten in from my trip to Israel I was going to come join this. Of course, I would've been divorced as well....so....

    Next time!

I'm only liking this for the crowler suggestion.

Hey, I'm not suggesting you drink the plastic-bottled iced tea, just that bourbon looks a lot less suspicious that way than in a water bottle. But seriously though, how awesome would it be to roll in with two dozen crowlers.

He's parking in day and then coming over to my site where I'll have all his camping stuff. Yeah, hopefully he can get his beer through. Also, looking to take advantage of the non-drinkers in my crew to maximize cans.

The van in front of us at the gate last time had so much glass that they had to leave behind. We watched for 15 minutes as "security" pulled homemade wine, homebrew, booze.... and a giant bud inside a large salsa jar. Poor guys were so sad, but also total schmucks for not heeding the warnings.
