Sold thru 50% of the batch, dropping Green Street limit to 4 bottles per person to stretch it out a bit

    Glad I got there early

Why does this beer have so much hype? OH is the most sub-par beer that I have had. Sucks for people in NY that their quality of beer is so low that they have to praise that mediocre beer. This coming from someone that lived in NY and has many of their offerings which have all left me confused about the OH hype.

Have you been to their tap room or is this based on their can offerings?

If you could call it a tap room. 20x20 room filled to capacity every time I went, with piss poor customer service.

There's a few "reviews" on Untappd, although they spelled the name of the beer wrong.

When I drove by at 1:30 there was easily 150+ in line.

Whoa. I am going to keep my mouth shut about how there will be plenty of bottles, just go later, etc. Crazy how many folks showed up for this (based on what I'm reading here, haven't ventured over yet myself).

I wonder if it's even worth it if I get there around 4:30.

Has anyone who lined up early for a beer and rushed to post their review of it on social media ever said "Eh, it's okay"?

I have to laugh or actually cry, I see this madness has spread to your humble little brewery up there, this is the price you pay for having a brewery with great beer. The every couple of weeks Other Half can release results in the same exact dialogue. How long will line be? When should I get there? Lather, rinse and repeat.

Crazy thing is at OH all of the beer people line-up for is almost always available on draft, but no one lines up for that. I am sure last Monday at Trillium no one lined up for Fort Point. But slap "special release", "limited", "collab", etc on a beer and people will line-up on a Monday morning for it! Beer geeks are insane. I feel for you who have you have supported the brewery from the beginning and are used to rolling in and getting beer with no problems.

I was there on Saturday, got there around 12:15, no wait at all, easily got a seat. Their customer service is really bad I would agree. Its not the same quality as trillium but I would not say it's sub-par either.

Exactly. The craft beer community is built on hype. I was in and out in 2-3mins a week and a half ago with several bottles of FPPA and Congress St.

Growler fills starting at 4pm, so it's going to be even worse than earlier. People will be getting growlers as well as bottles... slower lines.

And there is a very good chance that both of those beers are better than this collab.
