Fairly certain it got upgraded to closed permanently.

    From the Oregonian last year:

Pretty sure this place would have failed in "east side Portland" too, but I have a feeling he's going to come away from this blaming Beaverton for not being ready for such a fine establishment. Honestly, the McMenamins up the street had better beers, a better atmosphere, and food about on par. I certainly wouldn't say the food at Brannon's was "slightly upscale".

All I remember about Brannon's (besides the not-very-good beers and the giant/noisy/poorly lit space) was that the burger came with "bacon jam" that was thin, overly sweet, and surprisingly un-bacon-y.

The food and atmosphere are certainly better at the Cedar Hills McMens. (The wife and I only stopped going there because the service got so bad.)

There is a standard that we are used to (demand) here in the NW. Reading the NSB article, it seems like the owner tried to check too many boxes here rather than focus on being good at one (or two) things. And he obviously did not see Scarface.

I see this phenomenon when I travel ( oh look....a 'Craft Beer Bar' it must be good) but don't see it too much here in the NW. We are exacting and do not suffer beer fools lightly.

I trust whoever picks this up does their homework first.

Thought the beers were mediocre at best....
