If anyone really is on the hunt for good pumpkins beers, you should check out Horseheads Brewing. That might require you know someone in NY, but it's quite tasty.

HEY!!! What do you think this is...the NY beer thread??!?

I'll tell you what...if BG make a pumpkin beer I'll make my maiden voyage out there and send you some for some Horseheads.

That sounds like a plan! If you want anyway just let me know in a PM so I don't get banned for rebelling in multiple ways.

You will need to go to Ohio (vintage estates will probably have it, I'd Call first). Or I have seen Sixpoint beers in State College, if you are our that way. Sixpoint doesn't distribute in Pittsburgh.

Thanks for the replies to the Byob south hills question. Appreciate all the south hills people looking to do a share! I likely won't be able to do one this Sunday at hitchhiker, but was looking to do this one on a weeknight week of the 24th. I'll let everyone know where we end up.

They've tapped a couple kegs of 2014 Pumking, but any bottles in stock are this year's.

I do enjoy the style, but shouldn't be more than $10. And that's probably on the higher side of what I'd be comfortable paying.

Plus their labels are fucking terrible. Almost hilariously amateur IMO.

Draai Laag will be having a special one off coming out on draft.."E.S.C". (Extra Special Critters 2015 edition). Not sure on the exact time frame but I will let you know where it can be found when it can. It is a oak aged wild ale with a new yeast strain. every year will be different, from what I understand building off of the previous year.
