Going all "Heady Topper" on that shit for my last beer. My dog disproves though, its out of the glass or nothing for her.

Also just set up a mini tasting with a friend for Friday. Hes bringing along some Westy 8, I'm bringing an '07 Pannepot Reserva and a 2004 DFH WWS, and the owner of a local bar is bringing some mystery bottles. Should be fun!

 

Now onto a Zombie Dust... this case is going way too fast.....

For the record, I'm liking anything in this thread that's Jerry related.

How much did you pay for it? I've seen tons of these sitting behind the counter at my go to beer place for a while now and have never thought of asking about it. I might have to check it out!

 

Whaaat? WWS not being brewed for awhile? Say it isn't so! First time hearing this, when can we expect it again? Ill have to seek out the last few local bottles here...

Had one beer tonight, a New Glarus IIPA left over from stopping through Wisconsin while on a road trip.



Found a bottle of Mead in the fridge that a house guest left before I went on a vacation a month ago. They lose, I win. Not my usual cup of tea, but a nice change of pace.

North Peak Nomad (not a beer but still very tasty cider)
Brewery Vivant Kudde (not a huge fan of Anise, a bit difficult to drink the whole thing).

 

Just split an imperial biscotti break with my special lady friend.......tastes like a sweeter version of KBS!

 

We've moved onto a 2010 Night Stalker. I think it's on its way out, but still a unique and delicious beer!

Capping off the night with a Hoppin Frog DORIS. It's a great having a big stout after months of drinking mainly "lighter" beers. (Hefeweizens, pilseners, kolsches, etc.)

 

Huh, a few days ago I was wondering how Night Stalker and Big John were drinking. Thats too bad.

 

The bottle was stored on its side and the underside of the cap was caked with gunk, and had a barely noticeable cardboard quality. I have one that's been maturing on its feet and I hope it's in better condition. We'll see!
