If I would have drank one on Thursday you all would have had to stop me from going through 100 times on Friday.

Even the non-craft beer drinkers that I shared it with thought it was great. I promised 2 people one bottle each and my wife and I are definitely going to be drinking the rest of our allotment. We both absolutely love this beer.

I know its a long shot, but I was there most of the morning Saturday sharing bottles with a bunch of BAs in the beer garden and I think I either left my Treehouse hoodie at one of the benches, or someone grabbed it (hopefully by mistake). If anyone saw it or know what happened to it, please send me a BM. I was the guy sharing Julius and Grrrz at the Drie Fonteinein table. If you were there, you know who I was . Rewards to anyone who can help.

Bet you would not have lost it if you were at our table like you should have been
    Hopefully you find it....

I enjoyed it so much, I just traded for another 4 bottles since I could only go one day and only passed through the line one time.

Went on Saturday for the first time for an R&D release and it was hands down the smooth release I've ever been too. Couldn't have nicer things to say about Deb, Dan, and the entire NG staff, well done!

Look for the people trading this beer sky high. I'd lay money that they went through multiple times. D bags

Does anybody know for sure what exact berries were used in this? I have seen many speculations, but no definite answer.

I went on the hard hat tour Friday and asked, he would not say. Thursday Dan welcomed everyone in line and gave some info. He said blackberries raspberries and about 5 different berries were used.

Also on the tour the guide(brewer since '99) said something about a Golden Ale coming out next but quickly changed the subject.

So how would this work? Does the system recognize similar images and notify the scanner that a particular image has already been scanned?

Im pretty sure all liscenses have bar codes on them now. At least the Illinois ones do.

I know it works because the liquor store where I went to college used to scan them for age identification, and keg paper work.

I can't wait to see all the wifes, mothers, grandmothers, uncle, aunts that are dragged to New Glarus if people aren't allowed to double dip :grimacing:

I work in IT and this isn't impossible by any stretch. All you really need to do is swipe the ID, pull the name and maybe address (to avoid duplicate names), and save it to a database locally until the beer for that day is gone. Then delete the data and repeat each day. If someone came through the line twice within a period of time, a notification is shown saying they have already been through the line. Short of someone at NG not even bothering to look at the ID (fake ID's would be next method for these people), it would be hard to scam the system at all.

I can see people going as far as scratching part of the barcode off or putting one of those address change cards over it to avoid it being scanned haha

One of the workers showed me a gray hoodie and asked if it was ours. No clue what brewery it was from. Try calling New Glarus. Hopefully they held onto it for you.

So 38 bbl release at 500ml ea. bottle, that's like ~4,500L or ~9,000 bottles?

Not that many were released though. Many were held back for GTMW and possibly for other events. It'd be hard to calculate exactly how many there are because of that.
