The guy I was talking this a F44 didn't have high hopes for Dorothy's selling well, especially at the price.

Yeah, I was wondering about that... F44 has Dorothy's priced @ $10.49, $0.50 more that the other 3.

It is a 6 pack, so more beer for only $0.50 more, but not priced to move. Didn't sound like they were excited with how much they had to order of Dorothy's.

Yeah, thanks... it was pointed out to me in the "appreciation" thread that Dorothy's is in 6 packs... (I haven't actually been to the store yet). It is TG's biggest seller, though, and highly rated on this site.

Merwins in Falcon Heights has lots of 8-4 Axeman and got Alesmith today. TG should be there tomorrow as well.

Why anyone would be drinking anything other than Axeman right now is beyond me :sunglasses:

I see TG doing OK in the cities, but there is so much great beer here now. The price point will get them at some point. $10 for a 4 pack of PS/GN or $9.50 or less for Let it Ride/Roll, Day Tripper, Bent Paddle, Lagunitas, etc...

Not to mention $22 for a case of 8-bit! Best deal around!

Perhaps the price will drop once the newness to MN wears off. Pricing a bit above market, given the reputation of TG beers, is not a bad idea. I wouldn't be surprised that if there is buyer's resistance, the price will come down.

I guarantee that retail sticker will not move below 9.99 for a loooong time - at least on the hoppy beers.

$10 for 2 bombers of sue isn't a bad deal. Look at some of the other shitty bomber prices out there. MN people never stop whining. We finally get TG and everyone throws up a hissy fit about them not giving it away for free or for the date on the bottle not being 8-12-15.

There's a big difference between a 'hissy fit' & s discussion about the cost of the beers. $10/bomber for an IPA is a legit concern as a price point, even one as good as Sue, especially given (as @mnbearsfan noted above) there are several excellent options that are cheaper. Chatter about beer is, after all, why we're here, right?

That said, I'm sure TG will sell very well in Minnesota.
