Bellwoods is one of our favorite breweries and strongest influences. Bring some back for us.

Maybe we are all reading it incorrectly? Maybe it's I13S and they just have bad handwriting.

I am heading to Bensalem for a wedding this weekend. Anyone know somewhere close where I can get a pork sandwich or good cheese steak? And of course good bottle shops or beer bars, so I don't get reported.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. We look forward to hearing feedback (no matter how "constructive") and answering questions for as long as this thread manages to stay open. Like someone said previously, our open date is still very much a moving target but it's starting to look like somewhere around the first of the year...give or take.
    Cheers

Welcome aboard...thanks for joining the fray. Any additional info on the location of the location? Or should I know that already?

The Morning Delight trade requests are getting hilarious. Some dude just put up an ISO asking for Assassin, KBBS, a Dark Lord Variant, and two +'s for one bottle of Morning Delight.

The trade proposals for all the Toppling Goliath stuff goes full potato. It's embarrassing.

It really is absurd. And the past few releases they've had weren't shitshow wait in line all day affairs, so you could easily acquire them if you lived in the area.

I think? this Morning Delight release was being done via a lottery system, but I'm not 100% on that. I don't pay attention to what goes on with their stuff as I have no desire to trade my entire cellar for one thing that may or may not be slightly better than the BCBS sitting on my shelf.

Yeah, Toppling Goliath put up a posting a few mornings ago where they said the first 500 people to e-mail them would win the opportunity to purchase Morning Delight (two bottles, a glass, 10 ounce pour). No proxies.

About an hour ago someone was offering up a Morning Delight asking for SR-71 and Prop. Really really really thought about doing this since it will probably be the only chance I get to try this, but I just wouldn't feel right trading away SR-71 since I haven't tried that yet. I can't imagine it still being open anyways though since it will probably the most fair deal we ever see involving this beer.

Is that REALLY a "fair" offer, though? I mean, it's closer than that absurdity that you posted first, but I wouldn't call it fair.

You're just not going to acquire that beer via trade for anything remotely close to fair.

Headed to Deep Creek this weekend, and, while I used to frequent there, haven't been in a while. Obligatory "deep creek" forum search turns up nothing but McHenry Market and Mountain State Brewing. Wondering if any of you have ventured down there in the recent past and found anything else of interest.

I tried Mornin Delight last summer and it was really good. However, SR-71 was very disappointing and have heard the same about Assassin from people I actually trust. I will never trade for one of their beers, everything is so comical with what people want for them.

Fair might not the correct phrase here. I'll go with least absurd, haha.

I'll be down Deep Creek too this weekend. I'm like you though, as I haven't been down here in years and am not familiar with the stores / beer places.
