    Whole grain waffles made from scratch, instead of pairing it with my typical mid afternoon coffee i chose what could be my favorite new beer of the year, featuring my Other Half glass, how awesome would it be if these two breweries, by far the best in NY, IMO, collaborated? what are your thoughts @Sixpoint ?:slight_smile: cheers all

    Real nice pale with Belgian and American characteristics - fruity, hoppy, yeasty - 8% abv...

    Preseason madness continues tonight! NE without Brady! The Jets without Geno! They're building a bully in Buffalo! Oh, wait - that's tomorrow night... :flushed:

    Yeah, so, anyway - the whole problem with the Brady thing is just that everyone expected Goodell to reduce the 4 games to 2 or something. Instead, he stood pat. I think if the two sides can agree to a fresh start, reduce the suspension to 2 games, then all will be well and the NFL can breathe a collective sigh of relief. But if it goes before the judge, unless he rules in favor of Brady, it's going to go on and on...

    Geno got his jaw broken by IK Enemkpali! :astonished: Who???? Who is this guy to punch the starting QB in the face over $600? And then Rex Ryan takes him on-board :grimacing: lol - I hope I'm not gonna miss Rex this season... Fitzpatrick is a goof. Lookit his beard. A "Harvard man"...? C'mon... :rolling_eyes: Fitz will probably break even before Geno returns - all "off-his-game" - and then he and Fitz can be interchangeably inadequate, as the Jets, despite a crushing defense, miss the playoffs... :slight_frown:

    Kayaking was fun, even though I couldn't get the boat to always go in the direction I wanted.
    My wife and I took our guests to The Portsmouth Brewery for lunch. They were impressed.
    I had Torn and Frayed IPA, a nicely balanced beer.

    Damn it's hot.....coupled with the higher humidity gonna be a tough stretch for us Windy City peeps. The Air and Water show practice is being seen (and definitely heard) overhead. Why I chose an Eisbock on a day like today I'll never know but I refuse to try to think too much about my beer drinking choices.
