I heard that their 20th will be brewed with all the hops available worldwide, so no other beers will be brewed for at least 6 months. Wait, maybe I just made that up.

This beer exceeded expectations for me. I described it as a cross between Enjoy By IPA and Schlafly TIPA....Earthy, Tropical and a nice bitter finish. Stellar beer. Will be buying more!

Wow! Just opened my first bottle and damn is this one good brew! Stone has once again pinnacled. I think I might just have to agree that this is my best of the year IPA as well. Someone will have to come up with one hell of a combo to top this. Good job Greg and the boys at Stone! Cheers!

    Totally agree!
Incredible! possibly the best beer i've had this year and one of the best IPA i've tasted.
Going back to the store tomorrow to pick up a few more bottles.

oh man, how the tables have turned. i usually worship everything stone makes, this beer however was my first ipa drainpour ever. stewed garlic and onions to the point of nausea. rounded out by an earthy mushroom tea aspect that again isn't appealing. no doubt well crafted and innovative, this one just didn't quite do it for me. still love you stone.

Just tried my first bottle. Enjoyable, but not even close to best IPA this year for me (that'd probably be Pizza Port's Kook). Still, I'll probably grab another bottle or two.

Definitely onion and garlic forward in the nose, but the taste is more citrus and earth forward.

Well this certainly sounds like one that I will be in love with. I wasn't a huge fan of the 18, but the Gotterdammerung was very tasty! This may be one that I grab at least a half of a case.

Price has been rising for these beers locally. At the cheap place, it's some $2 more than it used to be. Making the more expensive places look like they are crazy.

Stone used to run about $7. Now I'm seeing $9. Sierra Nevada remains that one brewery who can bring the value and quality. They have bombers for $4.99 still.

How this relates to thus thread.. I passed on this for other beers and then some local project dank that many deem too expensive. Not a single word on cost for this stone product locally.

Buying bombers on a whim seems ridiculous. Luckily breweries stoll produce in 12 Oz bottles so a mix a six of seasonal is available and simply no second guesses on my part. Dropping $9 on a bomber had too many 2nd guesses. Don't let your consumers second guess, stone. Enjoy by in sixers was awesome. Bba arrogant was nice. This I may never experience.

So what's the verdict ladies and gentleman? Just saw it hit shelves where I'm at.

If it's an onion bomb with enough garlic flavor to kill Dracula I'd rather avoid

Had my first bomber last night....definitely NOT an onion bomb, at least to my palette.

Your mileage may vary, but I think it is outstanding.

Delicious. Very reminiscent of the original enjoy by batches before Stone tweaked the formula to appeal to the new fruit juice bomb ipa fad that is currently going on. Picked up 4 bombers. Not going to last long at all.
