    I'm about to catch a plane to go visit my kids, and so I'm indulging in a car beer en route (as a passenger in CT, it's perfectly legal, so no worries).

    Starting the day with my last Unibroue Grand Reserve 17 (bottled in 2011). Such a fantastic, complex brew. Perfect beer to sip while watching the sun come up.

    Here we go BA's....Celebration Day (personally) and, apparently, in grand-BA style...for many of you already (most impressive line-up already on site and the sun has yet to rise in California...:slight_smile:



    A day of transitions for me...(thank you for your patience and indulgence with the post)

    I slide into a birthday today (like so many other BA's this weekend, it seems)....on paper it appears I am now "50"...in my head and in my actions I am still a child of sorts (arrested adolescence?...denial??...just having fun??)

    so I sip Ten Fidy as i turn 50....and revel in the beauty of the darkness (and light) it brings

    I also positioned myself (strategic??...contrived??...manipulated??...whatever...needed another thing to "celebrate")...to transition from BA "Advocate" to BA "Champion" with post #750 here (quite a ride since 12/27/14...BA's have sincerely brought significant enjoyment, education and enlightenment to my life, psyche and being....all good...:astonished:



    honored, blessed and humbled...I am:wink:



    Cheers to all BA's...as I navigate the nature of this day (beer, family, beer, pool, beer, pizza...and beer)...I will post/peruse as can...dabble in the positive energy that flows on site every day

    but I wish you all a fantastic Sunday full of life moments you should enjoy and appreciate!!
