Drink myself in one sitting. If it's a cool bottle I will keep it for future yet to be determined projects. If it's just a label I'll soak off the label and set the bottle up for recycling. This is my bombers/750's life cycle.

Bombers/750's are by far my preferred format. I buy them right up and throw them in the cellar if they're age-able or the regular fridge if I'm going to drink them soon.

I homebrew, so I re-use 22 ounce brown bombers that don't have silk-screened printing on them (after removing the original label, of course). I probably ought to save 750's, too, but I get so few of those and the ones I get usually have corks, so...

Otherwise, the glass goes in the recycling bin.

I drink them myself all the time, but every now and then like to bring a few friends up and share the wealth, or better yet have everyone bring up a bomber and split all of them.

(assuming I haven't tried it before)

I buy it, open it, and pour a few ounces into a glass.

If good - drink whole bottle
If not good - share with wife

With bombers I will likewise pour my wife a sample. If she likes it, then I will split it. Otherwise I have no problem drinking it all.

What is it means this word "share"?

Usually share, if nobody to share with, I'll solo it. If it's a big one and I can't finish it, I'll vacuum cork it, and finish it the next day.

Then when it's empty, I go outside and practice bashing it on the side of the garage to make a weapon, you know like in an action movie, where the whole bottle stays in tact except the bottom.... In the event that I'm ever in a bar fight at a craft beer bar...

Collect them by the case in my basement because I never have enough people to drink them with.

I take exception to that view. I see no reason why two 11 oz. tulips from a bomber cannot be shared...with myself.

I tend to split them if I have tried the beer before and someone that happens to be around wants to try it. Other than that I try to hog it up! :grinning:

I have taken many bombers to the face. I rarely buy beer for a special occasion. If I share with a buddy he gets a splash in his own glass and its over, if i share with my girlfriend she gets a sip from my glass and if she likes it she gets a splash in her own glass then its over. But never both.

It is 2 beers. If you don't want to drink 2 beers, simply don't open one. When you are ready to drink 2 beers, then open and drink.

Way too much thought is put into this.

If you really can't finish a bomber by yourself (!?) one possible option would be to save the rest in a growler... Personally, I have never had this problem... I buy the bomber, I drink the bomber, then I look in the fridge to decide what I'm having next...

I buy a lot of bombers and honestly I usually try to share them with friends and family especially with high ABV. I don't drink them by myself too often. Sounds like I should start though from the responses

Depends on the style, you know? A bomber's worth of something easy drinking - 6 to 8 percent - is usually something I'll enjoy on my own. A 22 or even 750 of something more hefty - like Boulevard's new Imperial Stout Aztec Chocolate, which is amazing - is usually shared with the wife, although 'sharing' actually means she takes about 5 or so ounces and I get the rest:slight_smile: Win win, really - sharing a beer with the one you love while getting the lion's share of the bottle.
