I've checked all of the little stores in my neck of the woods (SW burbs) where stuff normally sits for a while and haven't seen any in weeks.

It would be a pretty rare sighting at this point

 

I've got a spare if you'd like to do an in person trade.

 

Definitely something I'd consider, based on how unlikely I'd be to find one at this point.

 

Anyone seen DBJ in the north metro? The missus got me 2 from Forest Lake MGM midday. Did a lot of calling but nobody seems to have any

Most people (like me) are just trying to get one bottle (so they can try it), let alone hoard a case for themselves when very few bottles made it to the cities. Wow. Welcome to the site man. Cheers.

 

Sorry, it just seemed like people were always posting about their cellars of BCBS and the like, I thought I would have one now and age a couple...a bit short of a case. Regardless, point well received and lesson learned; I'll hang it up on this one. Thanks for the lesson!

Tournament in Blaine told me to try again Friday, northgate in Blaine said try again late week but didn't specify. G-Wills in blaine/circle pines seem to be out.

 

I can't claim to be a saint, but I won't take more than one pretty limited beer from any given store, I just don't feel it is fair. Getting more than one will happen for the reason you mentioned, I just try to space it over more than one store.

I think a lot of us abide by that idea. No one is forcing you to, I just wouldn't post about how many you have while asking for more, it will tend to tick people off. Especially releases like this and for the reason mothman said.

 

So when south lyndale allowed a four pack of KBS to everyone who was waiting I should have only taken one instead? Not a single person didn't take a four pack...I'm just saying.....

Plus usually stores limit you to one each. Pretty nuts that the Forrest Lake one actually allowed multiples. Insane actually.

Don't worry. Many of these people would buy more than one as well. I'd love to see them pass on an extra bottle of a topping Goliath stout
