Beachwood BBQ Beer Releases Thread

They released Rye like an eagle as well at long beach. Don't know if any is left.

 

That is the thing. At this time you should not be surprised by anything when it comes to an announced release. Day or time don't matter. Any high AVB dark beer with adjuncts from a legit brewery will sell out in minutes these days. It's the only way traders out here can get any of the dark high ABV adjunct ridiculously overrated midwestern beers.

 

I would say this is mostly true. I have been surprised here and there. Like a brewery (who will not be named to try and not hype up the release) I know of that is having a bottle release party still has about 70 tickets left that grantee you bottles and early entrance.

Sounds like they suck at advertising. That said, there is no reason to withhold information if tickets are sitting there and you already have yours

 

Beer tastes better when no one knows about it.

 

I don't necessarily agree with you and that's fine. This is becoming the norm so it will be less surprising next time. If all of these people are really trading this stuff away, that's a shame. But I'm fine driving out to Beachwood and having it on draft rather than getting bottles if that's what it comes down to.

 

I was talking to my friends last week and I was discussing how I was at a brewery on a random weekday and there was a long line of people waiting for beer.

I said "How can all these people be here!? I know I work a job without strict 9-5 hours, but all these people can't possibly too right?"

Then I thought, you know, a lot of those people are probably thinking the same thing as I am.

Did MM sell out - was hoping to stop by and grab some tonight

 

Just left. There should still be some MM left but it definitely won't last the day. I would call to be sure. Everyone was getting 6. Apparently it sold out at seal beach in less than an hour so long beach is the only option. I doubt it will see distribution. The last release lasted at least 2-3 days.

 

Around 30 bottles left in LB.
