Beachwood BBQ Beer Releases Thread

The last few cases of Mocha sold out within 20 minutes at the LB location. I may not have gotten a bottle but I tried it on tap, I sort of get the hype.

 

What a strange release. Full Malted Jacket had no more than 5 people in line when they opened. This one had around 70 or so. Took about 45 minutes to get to the front of the line. Let alone another 20 because the cashier wasn't happy with the amount of green shiny part on my hundred dollar bill and I had to get change from a fucking Pink Berry who actually had a counterfeit currency marker.

Strange ass release, to say the least.

 

Sold out early, Citraholic still around, oh how the times have changed.

 

And then thing is, they still have some of the Full Malted Jacket for sale!

 

It will see distro but to only the usual " house accounts " like WFLB and Stearns and that will be one or two cases max.

I got there 5 minutes after it sold out. Nice guy at the bar sold me a bottle, though. Stupid 11:30 A.M. workday release...

 

Beachwood for all their coffee stuff is like this now, SOAS only sold out faster as it was a weekend.

 

Maybe it's the price. That was the only thing that deterred me. Although it still tempts me every time I come across it.

 

Citraholic bottles are all gone too missed out on grabbing my bottles when will they hit distribution ??

 

Of course Full Malted Jacket is still available.

When Wee Heavies and Barleywine releases become sh*tshows, that will be the signal to cash out your commodities in this craft beer bubble.

Isn't anyone just happy drinking MM and Citraholic on draft at BWBBQ rather then stressing over getting a bottle??

 

Of course we are. I have friends/trade partners on the other side of the country who love Beachwood. I mainly get bottles for them (though Citraholic is nectar of the Gods).

 

Full malted Jacket kicked ass on cask during Beachwood anniversary party... Mocha Machine is a deal for $12 damn tasty beer.

 

I thought I was crazy for getting there early today...until I saw the line when I was trying to get to the parking lot.

How long did the line outside last anyway? I left around 1pm and the line was still going.

 

I was more bummed when I found out that 8 Buffalo, SOAS, and Tovarish were all sold out off the bottle list.

 

MM should be available for growler fills right?

 

it was yesterday at least. I got one filled at around 9pm
