I've brought back similar hauls and the beer I wish I had more of is always the Founders Porter...that stuff is world class and just gets overlooked because of the rest of their crazy portfolio. Just a fantastic porter!

The Two-Hearted is definitely second on that list...really excellent beer!

nice list man. Living in Michigan is a great thing. Let me know next time you come and I'll point you towards some really great brews from lesser known breweries.

Some day I'm going to rent a van and road trip through Indiana, Michigan, and then clear up to Vermont.

It was moved from the Southwest forum...they should have left it as it was directed at that crowd.

Ya well this wasn't supposed to be in "Beer Talk" - I posted it in the Southwest forum for those guys because we get none of the above beers in Dallas. I went to Founders and Bell's breweries for those beers and the rest came from little stored around Buchanan and St. Joe which didn't have a heck of a lot of variety. I also made it out to Greenbush and Round Barn.

    Hey thanks!

We will try and get out there at least once a year now. I was really pleasantly surprised at how vibrant the brewing culture is in Michigan since my previous exposure had only been with Royal Oak in the late 90's.
