Worst beer you've tried

No surprise here - Bush Ice. Worst Craft beer - Tap Room #21 IPA from World Brews out of California. 1.75 from me, 2.9 overall rating.

 

Why the heck would you include that? I tried a Bud from 1945 and it tasted like urine, but beach wood aged urine. Well DUH!

 

I second the Oculto...and Shiner Birthday Beer!! A buddy literally squeezed 2 limes in it and added salt just to force it down! Which, I'm sure his stomach made him pay for that one later that night!! I drain poured that sucker and the rest of the 6 pack I bought.

Cave Creek Chili Beer - it's retired...I will look to see what is the lowest score I gave a non-retired beer.
I gave coors light a little lower than Camo...both bad - I think Camo is worse actually. They are both bad though - so who cares? lol

Taco Flavored Kisses from Voodoo comes to mind. Not saying it is the worst I ever had, but certainly in the last year. I drank it with 3 others at a bottle share and not one of us could finish our pour. First time that has ever happened to us.

 

I think this depends on the context. What is worse, a bad tasting beer you expect to be bad, or a beer you are disappointed by? If the former, any number of mass produced adjunct lagers could compete for the title, although some of the overly syrupy summer fruit ales can also compete for the prize. If the later, I remember being really underwhelmed by many of Green Flash's beers. Not to say they are horrible, just not as good as I was hoping.

 

Zima, Rogue Maple Bacon donut concoction, or the new root beer that's out. All gross.

 

AguaMala´s Mako. An american pale ale with waaaay to much grapefruit. Just insane. Drank 1/3 and drain poured the rest.

Worst porter I've ever had was by far Leinenkugels Snowdrift Vanilla Porter. It was the most artificial, unnatural tasting beer I've ever had.

 

The Bruery Rugbrod. Don't know what it was, but this was terrible. I generally like all styles of beer, but had to drain pour this one.

Corona Light. It was so vile... I would rather drink warm water or maybe even sour milk. No, I am not kidding.

In the independent realm of beer, I haven't any that was downright disgusting unless something was just wrong with it. I had a bottle of Stone something or other last year that resulted in me spitting the shit out in the sink and pouring the rest down the drain. Something was certainly wrong with the beer. Shit happens. I didn't hold a grudge. Thunderstruck and Xocoveza made up for it anyway.
