Fairly impressed by this. Not the best baltic I've ever had but it's up there.

    Not sure there's a Sixpoint beer I don't enjoy.

    It's good. Drink that shit.

Not sure how many people will be willing to trade for Sixpoint though (assuming that's what you mean). This isn't a knock on Sixpoint, they just have a wide distribution range across the country.

But I don't trade so I don't honestly know what I'm talking about.

Finally got my hands on some of this and agree that it's right up there with Victory at Sea. I didn't get that much vanilla from it myself but man does it have a great coffee/chocolate taste. Perfect thickness in the mouthfeel too. If I didn't know they were 10% abv I would have probably drank all 4 in a row.

It's a bit too pricey to be an every day sort of purchase for me* but I'll certainly pick up a single now and again as a treat.

*this is a reflection of my own thriftiness rather than a problem with Sixpoint's pricing

Finally got 4Beans. All my distributors made it sound like it was so limited that they were unsure they would get any at all. So I pre ordered with several distributors and ended up buying two cases. The one distro had to call and complain after ordering and getting the shaft. Meanwhile, ten miles down the road another distro had a stack of 8 cases! Anyway, 4Beans is very, very good. No one component overshadows another, perfectly balanced. It is on point to the description. I will be enjoying this for some time to come. Suggestions I have are maybe aging a portion in bourbon barrels, then blending it with the rest. Or add some coconut? Tecnically this is still 3Beans as coffee is actually a seed. We all call them beans though so rock on! If I could change one thing about 4Beans it would be the cold brew aspect. Coffee is best extracted at temps between 195º - 205ºF. Yes IMO it may un-balance this brew, but I would'nt mind a coffee bomb at first, coffee fades fast. Bottom line: I Love 4 Beans!
    Thanks Sixpoint!

I'm not sure if anyone has covered this in this thread yet but is anyone else putting some of these aside in the cellar for a while? It's awesome fresh as advertised but with some age I'd imagine it even better or at least it's worth a shot.
