What do you do with bombers/750s?

It all depends. However, most times I'll drink the whole damn thing myself!

 

Then mission accomplished!! Tonight I shall open a bottle of Congress Street and drink it all by myself!!!

 

Buy them then wait for the right time. Maybe with friends and wife or just friend or just wife. If the right time never comes. I go solo kinda, dog really likes beer so I might give him a little taste.

 

If it something that I really want to try I will buy it. I have a few friends I see weekly that I know I can share it with. I rarely take one to the face.

 

Sharing bombers is always fun but I'm not opposed to drinking the whole thing

 

Really depends on how thirsty I am, but I usually drink it by myself.

 

I used to share. But I got to the place where I only buy stuff that really appeals to me. So now I drink them myself. Generally in one evening.

 

I try to share big beers (10% plus), but I'm not against drinking them myself. The other thing I will do sometimes is recap them since I have a capper and both small and large bottle caps. When I recap, they are just as good as the first pour for several days. You definitely wouldn't want to wait a long time since there is so much head space. Obviously, this won't work with bottles that only take corks.

Just had a Gouden Carolus Classic 750 ml all by myself. So i guess i drink them.

 

I share them. A bomber is like a pickup truck. you don't buy them, unless you have a specific need for them.

 

often targeted for sharing but more often that not, at least with the 22 oz bombers, I just drink it myself in one evening. Put in perspective, this is, obviously, less than two 12 oz bottles and way less than two pints.

 

Depends on the beer..Ipa's..drink ASAP..any high ABV bottles..drink when I can either alone or with friends

 

For me it depends on what it is.
Sometimes I buy a bomber just to drink the beer by myself because I like it and it doesn't come in any other format, whether it be high abv or not.
Sometimes I get them and save them to either age them or (inevitably) age them because I'm waiting for someone to share it with and the time just isn't right so it sits in my hutch for two years and I finally remember it.
That's sort of the same story with any of the beer I buy though.

 

I drink it myself and if its a cool bottle my neighbor makes the empty into a candle.

 

I personally can drink a bomber no problem. Some of the heavy stuff in bombers though I cant eat very much if intend to finish it myself. As for 750ml, I almost always share those because they are usually something nice and I like to hear ppl's input on it and relate it to how I feel about it. Plus when you share, you earn beer karma, which I believe in beer karma for sure.

 

I drink IPA's/sours to the head. I can't remember the last BA stout or high ABV bomber I drank to the head. I usually share with my wife and friends. But I will share 8 bombers or more between 4 people so go figure.

 

Drink it twicw as fast as a 12 oz bottle. A bottle of beer is a bottle of beer.
