    Spent a couple of very worthwhile hours with son at bank setting up his own checking and savings accounts, and his first credit card. I'm ready for a beer - Heelch O'Hops, a DIPA from Anderson Valley Brewing Co.:

    Malt forward with pine and citrus nose. Myers lemons and earth pine flavors with semi sweet caramel malt foundation. I can't think of anything I haven't liked from this wonderful little brewery (I've visited twice) in Booneville, CA. Cheers!

    River Horse IPL on tap pretty nice stuff. A bit of a let down, I came here to try Maine Lunch but the keg kicked 1/2 an hour before I got here:slight_frown:

    Got my blood work results today. My LDLs were a little high (no surprise there). The HDL levels seem to be keeping them in check though. I was more worried about my liver. Turns out it is performing like a champ thanks to the years of rigorous training.
