Ann Arbor/Detroit beer Advice

    Im going be in the Ypsilanti/ Ann Arbor area as well as the Detroit metro area (Ferndale/Westland) next week for work. (Beer related). What breweries/bottle shops/beer bars do I need to hit while im there? I debating if I should even drink my beer shipper to bring beers back. Any advise would be great!

    Witch's Hat in South Lyon is having a big party tomorrow, but it sounds like you won't be in town yet.

    Wine Seller is my favorite bottle shop in Ann Arbor, worth checking out. Holiday Market in Royal Oak is great too, if you're up there.

    Yeah, def check out these two. Whole Foods and The Beer and Wine Castle have a decent selection of MI brews.

    Edit: Blue Tractor has some killer food, but the beers are just ok. Arbor Brewing is around the cover from Jolly Pumpkin, but again their beers don't do much for me. If you feel like driving south of AA for 35min, take a look at this place in Temperance, MI.

    I'd highly recommend going to 8 degrees plato beer shop in Ferndale as well as schramm's meadery.
