I paid $12.99 when it hit distribution. If I recall correctly, it was $25/bottle if you went to the official release at Goose Island

    Yep

$24 at one store and $17 at another. Those are typically inflated DC prices, however.

$12-$20 retail, and $25 at the release. That's...odd.

I think it was because Goose Island was charging their bar price, which is higher than retail.
Thought I remember hearing that the KH's that were sold from the release weren't aged in PVW barrels

The bottles sold at the release could be consumed on site, hence the increased price

The un-barreled version goes by a different name. The only "Prince Henry" available would've been on tap.

Here's a question (not to thread-jack). If you stumbled upon a bar that allowed take-away bottles, and they had a KH on the shelf today, what would be your price limit?

$20 for me, I don't pay extra for hype.

    I got 6 bottles - I paid $12.99 for 4 of them and $14.99 for the other 2...

    I had a $12.99 bottle and a $14.99 bottle in a vertical and I thought the $14.99 was better.
