Nothing was overtly bad or flawed. They just needed some more pop in their flavor profiles across the board.

Talked to the taphouse, kids are now welcome there with the expanded outside area it helps alot. They changed the policy a few months ago. Kids yes, Food yes, pets, no. Thats the only downer. No pets.

    Eww.

Irritates me when drinking establishments resort to citing nonexistent laws as reasons for their unpopular decisions (e.g. can't fill guest growlers, etc.). Business have the right to do whatever, but they should own it in the face of objections.

Agreed. It was kinda a lot of "meh" with the "vanilla" stout being a roasty bomb that lacked vanilla. None of the beers were offensive, but nothing noteworthy either.

Went to BG for the first time in a while and was very impressed by the hoppy offerings. MOMO was Hill Farmstead pal ale level. Wife was not happy about the 50-75 young women in yoga clothes. Was extremely loud inside. She doesn't drink beer and doesn't like crowds, so it wasn't too bad.

Red Briar hunters, a few are at bocktown robinson. 12 oz. The to-go discount is the way to go imo.

Can't imagine that there is greater profit margin on food (as compared that of beer).

I am perfectly fine with places that are pet free and completely understand places that don't allow pets.

How is the rest of the bottle selection there? They say 400 bottles, so i imagine its pretty decent?

Usually some oddities. The drafts are constantly changing too which is nice.

Stopped by Voodoo on Friday night and they had '13 and '14 BBVD bottles for sale. Limit 1 each. Also snagged a 4 pk of Cherry Quadfather

The bartender claimed on Friday that very shortly they will be releasing Coconut BOC in bottles and they bottled a ton. He went out of his way to tell me that they would probably still have it even if i showed up several days after it was released.

Look at the price between pizza and beer profit it is huge. But the biggest profit margin is soft drinks in the restaurant industry.

Now I wish I would have drank 20 less beers last night and had been physically capable of making it out there this morning.

If memory serves, they have a pretty solid selection, but are quite pricey.
    Like when they're closed?
Which sentence? Are you considering "promised" a 3-syllable word?
Do you ever do this on a Sat? (Weekdays would be even better, but I assume that's impossible.)

    This is a bad thing?

Do we know that there isn't a local lcb ordinance wherever that brewery is that doesn't allow for children in bars and/or breweries?

I understand places that don't allow pets. Also understand places that don't allow kids. Don't necessarily agree with either choice though.

Believe me, it did not taste anywhere near as good as my description makes it sound.
