A little late pron... Thanks to @NickyPogs for a great "Thank You" box for a GoPickItUpForMeBro recently. Dude sent some great beers I am uber excited to try (especially that hoppy love). Also, love breweries I have never heard of, especially when they make sours!

The can on the left...I figured you had heard of 18th St. but not Sour Note. Same place, different name.

Had Todd the Axe Man yesterday. That stuff is no joke. Amazing, amazing beer. Great box!

Absolutely will do! I know usually 2-3 weeks ahead when I'll be there. I am a VERY last minute travel booker. This past year the incredibly generous @kayakandbeer spent the better part of a day showing me around. I'd be happy to bring some PA goodness down to share with you guys. Sorry for the tag Larry. As penance I'll send out a couple Todd Axe man for you tomorrow.

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. The day has finally come. Tonight marks the end of summer break. That means back to work tomorrow! Time to celebrate one last summer night!

Thanks @HoppySeb! Plenty of good cinnamon and just a little hint of coffee left! Really tasty!

All right @mkhartnett, let's do this... 270! Your move...

Oh by the way, in case anyone gets crazy ideas, guesses for my LIF can change up to the moment the last person chooses their guess.

Just finally settling back in from my trip to Vermont this weekend attending Hopjam. Have about 5 pages to catch up on, but i will be spending tonight and tomorrow trying to remember all the beers i ticked and checking into them. Cell service was in and out all day and for a period i had to leave my phone in the hotel to recharge but im pretty sure between my group of friends, we have them all documented. I will get the total unique ticks tallied up no later than tuesday and announce the winner. One thing i can say now is its nowhere close to 100 so sorry @Dave_Treat and i think one other guy who guess over that.

Met up with @Syracuse12 and @RuckIt and ticked #dathandshake with both! I actually was hanging around in a the same group with Ruckit for awhile before I even realized it was him. Ill blame the beer for that one but small world nonetheless. It was great meeting the both of you! Awesome festival that i will definitely be attending again next year and highly recommend it to others.

You guys gave the best recommendations for my Boston trip, so here's another one for all you travelers...
Going to Munich in a few weeks. Been looking up all the obvious choices, Hofbrauhaus, Paulaner, Crew Republic, Augustiner, Tap House, and Szene Drink. Any other fun spots for food/beer/stores?

Get "The Beer Drinkers Guide To Munich" - it has every Biergarten in town worth going to and why. Haven't gone myself but have read it and will be using it on my trip next year.

@EA728 I also feel like this is a good chance to use the regional forum, I'm sure there's a good "traveling to germany" thread or two there.

I could just take the under of what @mbmiche put but that seems pretty cheap. Before I saw his guess I had 152 in my head, so I'm going to go with that.

Wow, still decompressing from a whirlwind weekend up in VT. Drove up Thursday and ticked a #dathandshake and IP swap with @Syracuse12 at Hill Farmstead – great location, beautiful new taproom (construction in progress) and of course the beer. Well worth the wait! Continued up to Waterbury and the obligatory stop at Pro Pig for dinner, although I was a bit underwhelmed by the tap list this time around – it was “only” above average. Ended up only having a couple rounds before heading back to the house for growlers of TH Green, Good Morning, and a couple 750’s of Trillium Headroom.

Saturday was unbelievable weather – mid 70’s and sunny, hoppy beers flowing, and some truly great jam bands rocking out. @xICooRsYIx handshake acquired there, and while I would have loved to hit up the after-hours bottle share, it was clear that I had had more than enough during the fest and just went home for the night. Solid 11 hours of drinking… figure that was plenty. Beer highlights – Headroom (so juicy and dank), Mastermind (equally tasty), and surprisingly for me – Bissell Brothers Seed, a raspberry / strawberry ale. I usually don’t go for the fruited beers, but that one was delicious and perfect for a hot summer day. Lowlights – Missing out on Lawson’s Fayston (kicked 6 people in front of me), and the organizers not spacing out the headliners well enough. There was a stretch right in the middle of the day where they put Alter Ego, Focal, and I believe Substance all on at the same time, but after 7pm (fest ends at 10pm) all that was left was a handful of mediocre beers. I kept expecting some surprise keg to get put on, but it never came… oh well!

Overall a very successful weekend – great beer, great music, and great company.
