I watched someone put a scoop of muscle milk powder in his Oak Aged Yeti. A new form of matter was made that day. I almost suffocated trying to take a sip.

Where do run-on sentences and lack of punctuation fall in the hierarchy? I kid I kid. :grinning:

So I cracked mine this weekend with a few assholes from this thread. The body was still pretty substantial and if they toned down the spices, they needed to. My bottle was still plenty spicy. Had an Abraxas with it and it wasn't much of a contest in my opinion. Oro was better.

I wish I had the 2nd batch of Oro with the Madruga Scorpion peppers. My favorite chile.

(I'd take Abraxas or Cake over Oro any day)

I thought it was awesome. Like a double fudge brownie with vanilla frosting washed down with a cup of coffee. Though I saw an untappd check in that said it was real peanut buttery, so maybe I'm doing it wrong

Man, that sounds awesome. 12%+ abv too, correct? I was contemplating going down this evening, but the only way I would have been able to make it down and get a pour is if I would have taken a half day from work, and those vacation days are reserved for releases. :grinning:

GNVP > Oro > Cake > Abraxas imo

Still haven't had non-barreled Huna though to compare.

huna is number one. Bomb is also a good chile stout I like cake but think it is overrated.

I loved Cake. Had a nicer spice to it than Abraxas and just as big of a body. I'll eventually have to crack my Huna to see how it compares.

How could I forget about Huna??? It's my favorite with a couple months on it, but fresh it's a little over cinnamon-y.

Gotta agree with this. Well, the first part anyways. :grinning:

Hunahpu has such a rich and creamy mouthfeel to it that is not found in its overly spiced companions (Abraxas, Mexican Cake, Bomb!). I love all of these beers, but I definitely put Huna on a higher level. Have not had Oro Negro. If Jackie O's was just an hour closer, that drive would be a lot more doable for me.
